Hermit Thrush

Experts have studied the Hermit Thrush singing patterns.  Some experts have concluded that it more closely follows the harmonic patterns of human music, than any other bird.

In the summer the Hermit Thrush primarily inhabits far northern forests.  It is rarely seen in a backyard, or near a bird feeder.
