Black-billed Magpie

Like other corvids, black-billed magpies are highly intelligent.  While widely dispersed throughout western North America, they are most commonly seen in Southeast Alaska in the fall and winter.

Their diet is quite varied.  They will eat wild fruit, grain, bugs, eggs, small animals, and carrion killed by predators.
